Dr. Chris Joseph is Principal of Swift Creek Consulting based out of Squamish, B.C. in Squamish Nation traditional territory. Chris is a consultant, researcher, facilitator, and instructor, with expertise across the field of resource and environmental management. Much of Chris’ work focuses on major project development, particularly with respect to economic impacts, cumulative effects, public interest evaluation, and climate impacts. Chris has written guidance for governments in Canada, undertaken impact assessments for Indigenous communities, stakeholder groups, and industry, provided expert evidence for regulatory hearings and courts, and published research in leading academic journals.
