Alexander Vanderhoof is a research economist interested in improving socioeconomic outcomes associated with the net-zero transition. He specializes in analyzing the economic and financial implications of decarbonizing the Oil & Gas, Transportation, Building, and Electricity sectors. He has previously worked for McKinsey & Company’s sustainability practice in Washington D.C, helping public and private clients advance initiatives to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Alexander holds a M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (Hon.) in Applied Economics from Queen’s University.
