Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan: the IET Proposal

The Government of Canada must submit its 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan by the end of March 2022. The Institut de l’énergie Trottier (IET) has elected to support the development of this plan by publishing a set of proposals detailed on a sectorial basis.

During this IET’s webinar, the authors will outline their proposed path to effective and meaningful climate action. This path builds upon evidence from a modelling exercise of unparalleled depth in the country, as well as on deep analyses of sectoral trends and barriers to decarbonization.
