Join the Government of Canada online on May 16, 2022 from 11:00 to 15:30 (ET) to learn more about the development of Canada’s first National Adaptation Strategy and to participate in the launch of public engagement on the Strategy.

The event is open to the public and will feature:

• An opening presentation by the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada;
• Panels on climate change adaptation opportunities and challenges in Canada with representatives from provincial, territorial, and municipal governments, Indigenous leaders, and Canadian adaptation experts; and,
• A presentation on the latest climate projections from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the Canadian Centre for Climate Services.
