Ben’s expertise is the overlap of economic and climate policy in the Canadian context. He has experience working as a consultant in the private sector, and in various environmental economic roles in the federal government. His research and analysis has supported the development of large infrastructure projects and major federal climate policies. Most recently, Ben was a Senior Economist in Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Economic Research Unit. Ben has a multidisciplinary background, holding master’s degrees in environmental sustainability and economics from Western University and Simon Fraser University, respectively.
