Dean Evangeliou
Dean is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Munk School with a Master of Public Policy, specializing in environmental policy. Before that, he completed a Bachelor of Arts and Science at McGill University in environmental studies and economics. Dean has experience in multiple sectors, including government and the non-for-profit space. He’s worked as a policy analyst for the Ontario Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines, and at the Climate Reality Project Canada, a non-for-profit where he focused on developing and launching key climate campaigns. Dean believes that systemic change is necessary and possible in the fight against the climate crisis, and that collaborating and reconciling with Indigenous people is the key to initiating that change. Being a competitive swimmer growing up, Dean loves to be outdoors and in the water. On a more personal note, Dean has a deep passion for everything film and pop culture.
