Eme Onuoha
Eme Onuoha oversees CPP Investments’ transnational public affairs strategy and associated government stakeholder relationship management program covering global jurisdictions including the United States, UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
Mr. Onuoha’s private and public sector experience spans more than 30 years. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he led Global Government Affairs at PSP Investments. He held senior roles in various divisions at Xerox. Mr. Onuoha has also held executive and advisory positions within several Government of Canada organizations including: the Privy Council Office; the Canadian Commercial Corporation; the Office of the Minister of National Defence; and the Office of the Minister for International Trade.
Mr. Onuoha earned an Honours BA in International Relations from McMaster University, an MBA from Queen’s University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford. He is an Honorary Governor at McMaster University. He currently serves on the Canada 2020 Advisory Board, the Canadian Climate Institute’s Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. Mr. Onuoha was also selected as a member of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference.
