
Eme Onuoha
Eme Onuoha leads CPP Investments’ transnational public affairs strategy and global government stakeholder engagement, covering jurisdictions across the United States, UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
With over 30 years of public and private sector experience, Eme previously headed Global Government Affairs at PSP Investments and held senior roles at Xerox Corporation, including Vice President, Global Government Affairs (Canada), and Chief Innovation Officer, Xerox Services (Industrial, Retail, and Hospitality). In the Government of Canada, he served as Director of Operations, Privy Council Office; Vice President, Canadian Commercial Corporation; Chief of Staff, Office of the Minister of National Defence; and Special Assistant, Office of the Minister of International Trade.
Eme holds an Honours BA in International Relations from McMaster University, an MBA from Queen’s University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford. He is an Honorary Governor of McMaster University, serves on the Canada 2020 Advisory Board, the Canadian Climate Institute’s Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. He was also selected to serve as a member of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference.
