Eyab brings a wealth of experience from a wide range of disciplines including resource development, energy systems and policy modelling, technology commercialization and industrial decarbonization.

Eyab worked 10 years in the oil and gas industry and led oilsands research at the Pembina Institute. Eyab is a father of two, a fellow at Energy Futures Lab, a fellow of the UK-based Royal Society of Arts (RSA). He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, and is a registered professional engineer in Alberta.
