Lisa Alers-Hankey has a policy background in environment and energy economics, climate change mitigation, and green growth. She has a keen interest in the relationship between climate change and the economy. Her previous research has focused on the economic opportunities of achieving net zero emissions. Prior to joining the Canadian Climate Institute, Lisa worked as an Economic Analyst at Environment and Climate Change Canada. Lisa holds a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Toronto.
