Louis Beaumier is Executive Director of the Institut de l’énergie Trottier at Polytechnique Montréal, dedicated at addressing the energy transition issues in a transdisciplinary manner.

The experience he has acquired over the years in his various roles – from software developer to engineering director, research and development – leads him to see that a misunderstood problem, like a poorly presented solution, is often the source of the difficulties of a project. He then turns to product management where he acts on both the understanding of the need and the presentation of the technical solution, which also results in greater relationships with customers.
