Normand Mousseau

Normand Mousseau is Professor of Physics at Université de Montréal, Scientific Director of the Trottier Energy Institute at Polytechnique Montréal and Co-Scientific Director of the Carrefour de modélisation énergétique. He is also co-founder and senior transition advisor of the Accélérateur de transition.

A specialist in the modeling of complex materials, with over 200 articles to his credit, Prof. Mousseau is actively involved in energy and climate policy. He co-chaired the Commission sur les enjeux énergétiques du Québec in 2013-2014, is the author of several books and reports on energy and climate, and oversees the publication of the Trottier Energy Institute’s “Canadian Energy Outlook”, among others.
