Tasha Brooks is a member of the Cowichan Tribes through her maternal lineage and of English, Irish, and Scottish descent through her paternal lineage. She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Royal Roads University, where she is also an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Management. Her research focuses on Indigenous entrepreneurial ecosystems, Indigenous innovation, and strengthening communities, always ensuring her work is receptive to community needs.
